Highlighted Projects

AK Architecture
AK Architecture was looking for a way to highlight various architecture projects and display these on a new web site. Virtualtown took a unique approach to this project and developed a flash based site that highlighted many of the projects this architecture developed.

Friends of Harriton Crew
Friends of Harriton Crew is a non-profit organization that was looking for a way to highlight the high school crew team and also fund raise money using their web site. Virtualtown worked with the board of directors to create a web site that featured various elements about Harriton crew and developed a page to process credit card transactions. Harriton Crew now has a presence on the Internet and is able to reach out to donors, alumni and parents.

Lite Tech Radiation Protection
At Lite Tech, extensive knowledge of radiation physics has been combined with polymer technology to produce the world's lightest-weight x-ray protection products, without compromising protection. Virtualtown designed a site where customers from around the world can view products and order online. This site attracts customers from over 20 countries and has made a company in Pennsylvania global.

Lower Merion School District Curriculum Site
The science and technology education department in the Lower Merion School District was looking for a way to communicate with parents and students in the school district. Virtualtown developed a site that ties in teachers personal web pages and can be used for conference presentations. In addition this site is used by teachers to submit morning announcements and students are provided with e-mail addresses to download the announcements and read them live on the district TV channel. The school district continues to use this site to highlight the wonderful things that occur in the science and technology education department.

Lower Merion Technology and Engineering Club
Working with student organizations is very rewarding and this high school technology and engineering club was looking for a way to advertise what they do and use their web site to promote their after school club. Students wanted to build the web site, so we provided the club with web space and a domain name. Students are currently working on their design and the site is in progress.

Personal Web Sites
We have worked with people to create web sites for online portfolios and classroom pages. Students, teachers, models, realtors, and others use personal web sites to advertise their products or services. This web site was created for a college portfolio at Drexel Univeristy.

Society of Elementary Presidential Awardees
The SEPA (Society of Presidential Awardees) organization promotes the interchange of best practice ideas in science and mathematics in Elementary Education. Virtualtown designed a site for this organization to share information with teachers around the world.

Wynnewood Civic Association
The Wynnewood Civic Association is a non-profit organization that is dedicated to the issues in the town of Wynnewood, PA. Virtualtown worked with the board members to develop a web site to keep the community abreast on news and information.
